English Version- hopefully necessary?

Dear Off-road- Friends from somewhere out of Germany!

We, the Off-road- Club Sengeltal- Biesenrode e.V. are very proud to announce the fourth edition of our 2 day Competition „Auslese“. Auslese means Selection. And that’s what we try! The last 3 races in 2010, 2011 and 2012 we found out, that our idea of the competition like we do it is well taken by our German Competiton Off-road Friends. We always do our best to push your Racers and Co’s to the limit.
Auslese is a two day competition.
A circuit race on Friday of about 4 hours. It consists of a mix of speed and tricky elements. Winner is who does the most rounds. As usual!
On Saturday we do the same circuit in opposite direction for a given amount of rounds. Within this amount of rounds you have to complete about 8 special stages which start and end from and back into the circuit track. The winner is who first completes the given amount of rounds and all the special stages. Normally we give you about 6-8 hour time to complete this. In the last years not a lot were able to complete all requirements caused by time out!
One thing which is maybe uncommon outside Germany for Competitions like this is that we start in two categories:
The first is, as usual, the open class, which allows nearly everything to 50 winches, tires as big as you want and modifications like you want. The only limitation is wheels- not tracks and a maximum weight of 3.5 ton. As usual…
The second and a bit special class is the old school class. We also call it the “fight hard class”. In this class you do the same circuit race and stages like the proto cars, but with some Limitations on the car:
- Only electric winches with one motor
- Original type of suspension (for example CJ7- leafs, Patrol- coils,… no coil overs or Air shocks)
- Tires not bigger than 37“ or 9.00-16, no tractor tires
- It has to have a more or less standard body, no tube chassis…
- No Portal axles, only if standard equipment from factory (like Lapplander or Pinzi)
- Drivetrain and axles like you want
- If you are not sure if you fit these requirements, please contact me From time to time we can do some exceptions if possible!
The basic idea was to reach those of you, who have a very good car, but got rid of investing thousands of euros to stay competitive with winch upgrades, suspension mods etc. We usually have a starter field of 50/50 proto to old school! And we promise to you- this is not a beginner class! Nearly all competitors tired and happy afterwards :-)
Every starting Team gets T-Shirts for driver and co, Certificates, and the first three in both classes win a trophy for driver & co.
The winners in the old school class will additionally get our wonderful handmade challenge cup belt buckle for the time till the next race and the Team names will be engraved into it.
For the winner of the open class, we have another goodie: The next years T-shirt will have a print of you on the front side. Wouldn’t it be nice to see 80 off roaders wearing a shirt in maybe oranje?
The last three years I was very busy finding different designs for the shirts because one of our friends made it to the hattrick in the open class! Now it’s up to us or you, to beat him! The one team who beats him gets back the starting fee or if you want a free start for the next Auslese!
Hopefully I made it to get you over the border and meet at the Auslese!
You will find room for Camping; we will have some food on Friday and Saturday for lunchtime and dinner. Of course there will be lots of beer & co!
Hope to see you there! All given Information will be found on facebook or contact me on marc at s-and-i.de
